Reccomended Reading: Just Kids

I recently finished Patti Smith's new memoir, Just Kids and highly recommend it. I've been a fan of Patti's work for a while now but this book sealed the deal. It's a great read about Patti's early days in New York and her relationship with photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe. It's a portrait about her her struggles as an artist, a beautiful, unconventional love and New York in it's heyday.
