I've just completed my first batch of jewelry for the amazing website, Ecovolve (http://www.ecovolvenow.com). I'm thrilled to be apart of such a fantastic organization that specializes in luxury sustainable goods. While you're looking around their site keep an eye out for local designer friends Brehan Todd and Seaworthy as well. More designs are on the way! (Pictured here: The Aurora Necklace, Luna Earrings & Galaxy Bracelet).
I'm pleased to announce that you can now find my jewelry at the lovely Icon Tattoo here in Portland (813 N. Russell St.)! The ladies there do beautiful tattoo work in such a charming space and they have a fantastic selection of jewelry. Paper Treasure earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings have just been added to the mix along side local favorites like Brehan Todd and Betsy and Iya. http://www.icontattoostudio.com
Here's another glimpse at some of the inspiration behind the second line that I'm developing. Stay tuned for photos of the finished jewelry as well as the details about where you'll be able to pick it up. What can you expect? Bold metallic colors in electric blues and bright purples, bronze and black, icy lavenders and gold tones mixed with silver. 1). Biba 2). Ellen Rogers: http://blog.ellenrogers.co.uk 3). It goes without saying that I absolutely love the Grey Gardens documentaries (being a cat lady at heart myself with a penchant for the indoors). I was thrilled when I recently came across these photographs of the Grey Gardens house itself. (Via: http://www.theselvedgeyard.wordpress.com)
I have been a long time fan of the work created by Pia Jane Bijkerk. The worlds she creates are so irresistibly sweet. She recently re-launched her website and it's pure magic: http://www.piajanebijkerk.com/
I'm currently developing a luxury collection to be sold exclusively with Ecovolve (http://www.ecovolvenow.com). If you're not already familiar with this amazing site dedicated to high end sustainable goods you should definitely check them out. My friend Brehan has created some spectacular jewelry for them that is not to be missed. My own collection is nearly complete-- I'll let you know the moment it's available! Here's a glimpse at some of my inspiration. 1). Model Jamie Bochert 2). Unknown 3). Alice and Olivia via: http://www.theglamouri.com
I've recently been introduced to the glamorous world of Biba and I'm completely hooked. I can't believe I didn't know more about this amazing brand until now! (Thanks Cindy!) Biba and the 1960's interpretation of Art Deco/ Art Nouveau are the inspiration behind a new line that I'm creating. I am so excited to show you! Available in early summer 2011!
