Paper Treasure jewelry is created by hand in Portland, Oregon with sustainability in mind. Fine vintage and antique bits and baubles are combined with new chains to create unique and limited edition designs.

The designer, Jesseca McCloskey grew up on the shores of Rhode Island and spent the summers of her youth collecting sparkly sea glass and gazing longingly out to sea. In 2006 just before moving West, she was given a special present; A paper treasure chest filled to the brim with vintage costume jewelry. The contents of this chest soon became both the inspiration and the raw materials for her first collection.

This gift also sparked an interest in shipwrecks and the underwater excavation of long-lost treasure. Each necklace has been named after an actual shipwreck and comes tagged with information about its’ namesake as well as with the Paper Treasure signature ship charm at the clasp. Wear them on their own or pile them on thick!
